First, crack the computer power-on password.
The power-on password is the password that you jumped out after turning on the computer's power-on self-test. At this point you only have to enter the correct password before the operating system starts. When this password appears, you will not be able to enter the BIOS settings of the computer, so the security is relatively good (it is recommended not to set such a password for the laptop. Because once you forget the password and then lose the corresponding decryption disk, you can I have to go to the laptop manufacturer repair shop to burn money).
To use a computer, you first need to turn it on. Therefore, the power-on password is the first thing we have to encounter. Although the CMOS types are different, their encryption methods are basically the same. The general method of cracking is mainly carried out from two aspects of "hard" and "soft".
1. "hard" lifting method
The hardware method to cancel the CMOS password principle is to discharge the CMOS RAM on the motherboard, so that the parameters stored in the CMOS RAM cannot be properly powered, resulting in content loss, thereby eliminating the CMOS password.
Some newspapers and magazines have introduced the common practices of how to crack CMOS passwords, such as jumper shorting method and battery shorting method, and it is very convenient to operate. but
What we are going to introduce here is an alternative technique, which is also a method that some computer DIYs like.
(1). The method is also very simple: open the chassis, unplug the hard drive or the optical drive, floppy drive data cable from the motherboard, and then start the computer, the BIOS will report the error and automatically enter the CMOS during the self-test, then you can re- Set the BIOS content.
(2). Open the case and take out the CMOS lithium battery on the motherboard. After a while (5-10 minutes), put it in again and the password will disappear automatically.
Principle: Because the power-on password is set in the BIOS, it will be stored in the CMOS on the motherboard. This memory will disappear after a long power failure, so the password will disappear.
2. "Soft" lifting method
Strictly speaking, the "soft" CMOS password is not as thorough as the "hard" lifting method, but it works very well. CMOS passwords can be set to both normal user passwords and super user passwords as needed. The former only restricts the modification of the BIOS, can start the computer and run various types of software normally, while the latter is completely forbidden to enter the computer and the BIOS.
Crack the password of ordinary users
(1) First start the computer with the DOS boot disk, enter the DOS state, enter debug in the DOS command line, then use the data listed in any of the methods to unlock the CMOS password, restart the computer, the system will tell you CMOS parameters Lost, requires you to reset the CMOS parameters. After testing, this is a very effective method. The letter "O" after "-" indicates the address of the numerical output, and both 70 and 10 are numeric values.
(2). Start Win XP, when running to the “Starting Windows XP” prompt interface, press “F8” to call up the system startup selection menu and select “with command line security mode”;
(3). When the operation stops, it will list “Administrator” and other users' selection menus (other users in this example take xpuser01 as an example), select “Administrator” and press Enter to enter the command line mode; 3. Type the command “ "net user xpuser01 1234/ADD" This is the command to change the user password. "1234" in the command is the new password after the change.
(4) If the typed user does not exist (xpuser01), the system will automatically add this user.
(5). You can also use the "net 1oca1group administrator xpuser01 /ADD" command to promote the user xpuser01 to a superuser, and you have all the permissions.
