Step:1

Understand what the limitations are As most Windows 10 accounts use the email address and password of a Microsoft account to log in, you can not reset the password for the main account of the computer you want to hack, such as could be done in Windows 7 and other previous versions. However, you can access the files in the main account.

If the user you are trying to hack is a local user (for example, a user added to the computer through a Microsoft account), you can change the password as you could in previous versions of Windows.

Step:2

Make sure you have a CD or USB memory stick installed. In order to use this method, you will need a Windows 10 installation medium. If you do not have an installation CD, you can create an installation USB stick by doing the following:
  • Connect an 8 gigabyte (or more) USB stick to your computer.
  • Open the Windows 10 download page .
  • Click Download the tool now .
  • Double-click on the tool you downloaded.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen to install the tool in the USB memory.

Step:3

Insert the installation media into your computer. Place the installation CD in the disk drive or insert the USB memory into one of the USB ports of the computer.

Step:4

Restart your computer and enter the BIOS . Click on  Image titled Windowsstart.png Start , then in  Image titled Windowspower.png Start / Shutdown , then Restart and then repeatedly press (or hold) the key to enter the BIOS of your computer until you can access it.

  • The key to enter the BIOS varies according to the manufacturer of the motherboard of the computer, but some of the most common keys to do it are: the function keys (for example, F2), the key Esc and the key Supr.
  • If you do not know which key to press or hold, consult the BIOS documentation of your computer doing an online search with the following terms: the model, the word "BIOS" and the word "key".

Step:5

Change the boot order of your computer to give priority to the installation medium. Again, the steps may vary according to the BIOS of each computer.
Usually you have to look for a tab called Boot (boot) or Advanced (advanced), use the arrow keys to select the CD drive or USB memory, and press the key +to move the unit up, to the side top of the list.
  • If a problem arises, it would be good to look for the BIOS documentation online, as you should do whenever you have doubts related to this tool.

Step:6

Save the changes and exit. Press the key assigned to the "Save and exit" function. In the indications of the BIOS you will see what that key is. Then, press another key to confirm if they ask for it. Your computer will finish rebooting and then the installation menu will appear.
