Using the tools purchased via the Internet, he extracted money from the depths of two common devices from the world's largest manufacturers, Infox.ru reported.
In order to get to the insides of the ATM, the specialist used a special key, which he easily acquired via the Internet. Having access to the service USB-port, Jack connected to an operating system written on the basis of Microsoft Windows CE, and then he could give any device commands, even unlocking the safe with money.

The representative of Triton, one of the world's largest manufacturers of money-giving machines, said that he had not encountered any cases of successful hacking of his company's products. And according to Jack, the devices produced by small companies, which do not always have the opportunity to timely eliminate vulnerabilities in the firmware of their ATMs, are most at risk.
On the development of specialized software, with which you can manage ATMs, Jack took several years. According to the expert burglar, he even purchased two popular ATM models for training.
Using the errors and vulnerabilities found in their firmware, he was able to write a program that gives full control over the machines for issuing money.
